1. Câu điều kiện loại 1 là gì?

Cấu trúc

: If + Simple Present, Subject + will/won’t + Verb.

Ví dụ 1:

• If it rains, I will stay at home. (Nếu trời mưa , tôi sẽ ở nhà.)
• If I wake up late, I will miss the bus. (Nếu tôi thức dậy muộn, tôi sẽ bỏ lỡ chuyến xe buýt.)

Bạn có thể đảo ngược thứ tự của các mệnh đề. Nếu mệnh đề “if” đứng trước, thường sử dụng dấu phẩy . Nếu mệnh đề “if” đứng thứ hai, không cần dấu phẩy.

• I will stay at home if it rains. (Tôi sẽ ở nhà nếu trời mưa.)

Chúng ta sử dụng ‘ may ‘ hoặc ‘ might ‘ để nói rằng sự kiện trong tương lai là có thể xảy ra, nhưng không chắc chắn.

Ví dụ 2:

• If you need someone to help you move, I might be able to help. (Nếu bạn cần ai đó giúp bạn di chuyển, tôi có thể giúp.)
• If it’s a sunny day tomorrow, we might have a pool party. (Nếu ngày mai trời nắng đẹp, chúng ta có thể tổ chức tiệc bể bơi)

Đôi khi chúng ta sử dụng ‘be going to’ thay vì ‘will’ trong mệnh đề chính để nhấn mạnh một kết quả chắc chắn.

Ví dụ 3:

• I’m going to give you twenty pounds if you fix my computer for me. (Tôi sẽ cho bạn hai mươi bảng nếu bạn sửa máy tính cho tôi.)
• I’m going to stay for the weekend if you like. (Tôi sẽ ở lại cuối tuần nếu bạn thích.)
• If you are not ready, I‘m going to go out without you. (Nếu bạn chưa sẵn sàng, tôi sẽ đi ra ngoài mà không có bạn.)
